“There is Roti in my lunch box” is a story about Neha, a 6-year-old second generation Indian-American girl, who is trying to understand why the food in her lunch box is always so different from what her friends bring.

Book is very innovative and bring out the daily problem kids face at their schools. I simply love the concept of being special!! The message given by writer that being different from others should not scare us. Proper guidance and knowledge by parents can improve things way better.A very important message at last that lets not discriminate with food,race,ethnicity among kids.Let them enjoy their childhood to the fullest.
Regarding storytelling- easy for kids to read on their own
Illustrations- Very attractive, increase interest while reading
Price- Very affordable
Would love to read more of such kind in future.

Great little book!
Great concept, and a wonderful way to educate children about intercultural diversity. Should have analogues in India too! Food is a great human context to use for education.
Cute little book. Communicates the message about respecting differences and not making fun of someone who is different from you. Nice illustrations and simple story telling. Also appropriate for kids that have just started reading on their own.
